Transparency
This case is funded entirely by community donations, where the location of that money & every single movement it makes is public.
The crowdfunding goal was hit in December 2024, where GoFundMe then told us that the entire sum had to be withdrawn before April 2025 or the crowdfund would be cancelled, meaning withdrawing it in small chunks was never an option. Before touching any of it we had to sort out a rather nasty tax question, aka whether swedish law would treat the donations as donations at all, or as payment for something in return, which would have vaporised roughly half the funds. That was ultimately resolved with no tax burden, and the money went into a swedish bank account opened solely for this case.
A read-only view of that account has been public since June 2025, given that for the sake of transparency I do believe it is a core part of this, and the lawyers agreed that displaying it publicly shouldn't pose any problems. Our law firm also chose not to invoice anything until the filings were complete & submitted, which I am extremely grateful for.

On the displayed total
One thing worth knowing before you go looking at those numbers: the money is held in Swedish Krona, but usually displayed in US Dollars given that it is the more widely understood currency, and the conversion rate on our displays updates every 24 hours. This means the displayed total can drop without a single krona having moved, which has understandably worried people before. When that happens nothing has been lost or spent, and the bank statements show every actual movement in & out of the account.
Court records
Every communication & document related to the class action is a public record, so if you'd like to verify any of it for yourself rather than taking my word for it, I would encourage you to request them directly from Nacka tingsrätt using the case number T 5478-26, as some members have already done. What is not published
Two things are deliberately held back. The first is the CSV of the participants, which I removed from the published annexes as I do wish for them to have as much privacy as can reasonably be had; it is still part of the public court record and can be requested from the court, where that extra barrier will hopefully discourage any potential trolls from trying to be funny with emails.
The second is anything that could be used by Mojang to mount a defense in advance, where every single step of this process gets transparently communicated EXCEPT for that, and that has been the rule since day one.
